The Taxation Committee’s mission is to provide current and relevant information to members on the tax laws that impact their practice and clients. 

The chapter’s main event is the annual Rochester Tax Institute held every November. It is a eight-hour continuing education session for attorneys and Certified Public Accountants in the Rochester area. The event is a collaboration of the Monroe County Bar Association and Rochester Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
