Westchester Chapter looks forward to the year ahead
By JOHN M. BRANT
Westchester Chapter President
Hello, all. I have the honor of being the incoming president of the Westchester Chapter of the NYSSCPA. My name is John Brant, and I am a tax manager at PKF O’Connor Davies, where I have worked at for the last 10 years. I have been working in the accounting industry since 2002, after getting my bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Rochester Institute of Technology. I look forward to serving the community in the year ahead.
I would like to thank the outgoing board members for their service over the years. The time and effort they have put into the chapter is commendable and well appreciated. I would also like to thank the current board members for serving with me this upcoming year. Together, we can do great things.
Volunteerism is the lifeblood of this organization. The chapter is always looking for active members to join the board, head up committees or just participate in committee meetings. I strongly encourage anyone interested in getting involved in the chapter’s leadership to reach out to me.
In the year ahead, the board will do its best to serve the Westchester accounting community at large. Please let us know how we can better serve you. I look forward to interacting with you in the year ahead.

If you are interested in participating by volunteering a few hours (or less) of your time to answer tax questions, please respond to Robert Winton via email at rwinton@citrincooperman.com, or call 914-949-2990 ext. 3326. Please include your name and contact information in your response.
