Attitude is all
By BRUCE M. ZGODA | Buffalo Chapter President
It is tax season and with that comes little time to do much of anything except work. Having said that, it takes a good attitude to forge ahead and provide our family, friends and clients with the care and concern they deserve.
Our attitude has an impact on life. As the evangelical pastor Charles Swindoll once wrote, it is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than success, than what other people think or say or do.
It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill.
It will make or break a company...a team ...a home.
That same person reminded me that the good news is that we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past .
We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one thing we have, and that is our attitude.
So, it is not what happens in our life, but, more importantly, how we react to it.
Therefore, we are in charge of our attitudes, which might help us all get through another busy season.
Now is also the time to start thinking about tomorrow and the new year that is in force. How can we make a difference and what more can we do to contribute to our NYSSCP A?
Let's all take charge of our attitude and make a difference. Happy Tax Season to all.
Bless you all, and remember, "You can never tell what type of impact you may make on another's life by your actions or lack of action. Sometimes just a smile on the street to a passing stranger can make a difference we could never imagine."
