Member Appreciation Spotlight Suffolk Chapter

Ernest Patrick Smith — Dedicating a large portion of his time and professional skill to giving back to the accounting community through his volunteerism with the Suffolk Chapter,]Ernest has encouraged those just beginning in their careers to join the Society, making sure that newcomers are aware of the various benefits that are available to members, both personally and professionally. His direct involvement in the Society includes being a board member of the Suffolk Chapter and a Chair/Co-Chair of the Suffolk Forensic and Valuation and the Members in Industry committees. In addition to annually providing ethics CPE to the Society's members.

Janet T. Verneuille, former Suffolk Chapter board member — Janet has long been a valued member and contributor to the Suffolk Chapter, having held many leadership positions, as well as having been a former Chair of the chapter’s Members in Industry Committee, providing valuable education seminars to members. Despite recently being promoted at her place of business, she stepped up and spent the last fiscal year as the Vice President of the Suffolk Chapter, soliciting and providing valuable content to be included within the chapter’s monthly newsletter.


The presiding President of the Suffolk Chapter is Robert J. Huether.
Chartered June 27, 1971, this chapter encompasses the county of Suffolk.
